We can provide an invaluable insight by navigating the key project elements including design and gaining your planning permission.

We will provide detailed plans required by Building Control and a Tender set so that builders can give accurate quotes.

We can provide alternative solutions that may be more economical and help reduce build costs and add value to your home. Options for reorganising and improving existing spaces and options for the form of the extension can be tabled and discussed.

Depending on the project it may also be necessary to involve other specialist consultants. We will let you know when these may be required so that the project runs seamlessly between stages.

Fees

The cost of builders, material and construction: 60%

  • Architect: 8-10% (15% on top of the construction cost)

  • Other consultants: 5%

  • Planning permission and administration: 1%

  • Party wall agreements: 3%

  • Insurance: 1%

  • VAT: 20%
